Pelatihan Komunikasi Efektif untuk Mengurangi Glossophobia pada Tutor Bimbel

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan memberdayakan tutor Rumah Belajar Rukun dalam mengatasi Glossophobia melalui pelatihan berbasis praktik komunikasi efektif. Glossophobia yang dialami tutor terbukti menghambat kejelasan penyampaian materi serta interaksi edukatif. Program dilakukan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui layanan informasi, penguasaan konten, simulasi komunikasi, latihan vokal, teknik relaksasi, grounding, dan positive self-talk. Sebanyak 20 tutor dipilih melalui purposive sampling, dan data dikumpulkan menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, serta kuesioner evaluasi sederhana yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 92% peserta menilai materi pelatihan sangat relevan, dan 100% peserta menyatakan adanya peningkatan dalam hal kepercayaan diri, kesiapan mental, dan kemampuan komunikasi publik. Observasi juga memperlihatkan peningkatan pada teknik komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal seperti kontak mata, intonasi, dan struktur pesan. Pelatihan ini berhasil mengurangi gejala Glossophobia dan meningkatkan keterampilan tutor dalam menyampaikan materi secara jelas dan meyakinkan. Dengan demikian, program dinilai efektif menjawab kebutuhan mitra dan berpotensi direplikasi pada lembaga pendidikan nonformal lainnya untuk memperkuat kompetensi komunikasi tutor secara berkelanjutan.
